St. Nicholas' Chapel in Bangkok

Chapel of Saint Nicholas Wonder-worker, Archbishop of Mira in Lycia (Bangkok, the Kingdom of Thailand)

St. Nicholas Parish of Russian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate) was created on decision of the Holy Synod of Russian Orthodox Church on 29th of December, 1999. On same decision archimandrite Oleg (Cherepanin), a priest from Yaroslavl Diocese of Moscow Patriarchate, was blessed to be appointed the rector of the newly created parish.

The parish has at disposal a chapel in the name of Saint Nicholas, Wonder-worker, Archbishop of Mira in Lycia, built in 2005.

Since 2001 Representation of Russian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate) in the Kingdom of Thailand acts under St. Nicholas' Chapel.

Service worship in the chapel of Saint Nicholas the Wonder-worker, Archbishop of Mira in Lycia, is conducted every day at 7.00 AM and 7.00 PM
On Sundays: at 7.00 AM, at 9.30 AM – Divine Liturgy, evening service – at 7.00 PM.
Service is conducted in Church Slavic, English, Thai, Greek and Romanian.
Occasional religious rites are done at any time at the instance of believers.
Confession usually is conducted before Divine Liturgy or at believers' will at any time.
Psalm-reader of the parish – Dr. Vladimir Buntilov.
At non-serving hours the chapel is open from 7.00 AM to 8.00 PM.

The parish in the name of Holy Life-Giving Trinity on Phuket island

Holy Trinity church in Phuket (September 2012)

The parish in the name of Holy Life-Giving Trinity on Phuket island (Orthodox Christian Church in Thailand, Moscow Patriarchate) was created in 2008 after Orthodox Church had been registered in Thailand.

Currently, the Orthodox Christian Church in Thailand foundation poseses a plot of land in Talang district for for building an Orthodox chapel. On 13th of May 2008, on Trinity Paternal Saturday, the land was blessed for the chapel construction and the first Divine Liturgy was served.

Stone foundation for church construction (21.12.2009) On 21 December 2009, during his official visit to Thailand, the chairman of the External Church Relations Department of Moscow Patriarchate archbishop Hilarion of Volokolamsk, performed the service for the stone foundation of the new church in the name of Holy Trinity on Phuket.

Parish in the name of All Saints in Pattaya

Храм Всех Святых в г. Паттайя

The parish in the name of All Saints in Pattaya (Orthodox Christian Church in Thailand, Moscow Patriarchate) was created in 2008 after Orthodox Church had received state registration in Thailand.

On 20th December 2009, the Chairman of External Relations Department of Moscow Patriarchate, archbishop of Volokolamsk Hilarion, performed the service for sanctification of the church. Two priests serve in the church: the rector of St. Nicholas parish, archimandrite Oleg (Cherepanin) and priest Danai (Daniel) Wanna.

Christmas Eve. Divine service in «Royal Cliff» hotel. January 06, 2008

Traditionally on Christmas Eve (paramoni of Christmas) from 6.00 PM the festive divine service is conducted in «Royal Cliff» hotel in Pattaya.

Monastic community in honour of the Dormition of Mother of God in Rachatburi province

On February the 17th, 2009, Orthodox Church in Thailand Foundation purchased a plot of land with the size of 8200 sq.m. in Rachatburi province (about 100 km. from Bangkok). In this land the Holy Dormition Monastery is going to be established, as well as a theological school and an Orthodox cemetery.

The Holy Ascension parish in Samui island, Surat Thani province

The representative of Russian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate) archimandritet Oleg (Cherepanin) came Samui island on 28 March 2009 with a ministerial visit. archimandrite Oleg organised a meeting with the flock, at which it was decided to open an orthodox parish on Samui in honour of The Holy Ascension of The Lord. The council of the parish and the revision commettee were elected as well. The Holy Ascension parish includes Samui island, Phangan island and Tao island.

In January 2011 the committee of Orthodox Christian Church in Thailand Foundation made a decision to begin the construction of the Holy Ascension church on Samui island. According to the experts' conclusion, the necessary sum required for the construction is 14 000 000 Thai bhat. That makes this construction project the most expensive among other Orthodox churches built so far in Thailand. The progress of the construction and information about the donations are published on the official website of Orthodox Church in Thailand.
